Yes – Bijeca, one of the few real sandy beaches in Istria. It runs for about a kilometre with a very gentle entry into the sea, which makes it ideal for small children. From Villa Livi it's about five minutes by car, or a longer walk along the shoreline.

The sea is in view about 150 metres from the house. The nearest bathing spot, Mukalba Beach, is 400 metres away – around a five-minute walk.

Yes, the house is open all year. Every apartment heats independently via its air-conditioning system, and we particularly welcome longer stays between October and April.

Southern Istria is one of the sunnier corners of Europe – the Pula area records around 2,200 hours of sunshine a year. Winter days typically reach 8–13 °C: mild enough for daily walking and cycling, though you'll want a coat.

Fifteen apartments in five sizes: two for 2 guests, seven for 4, four for 6, and two large apartments for 7–8 guests. All have fully equipped kitchens and air-conditioning; most have covered terraces with sea views.

Yes – free private parking directly at the house.

Pula Airport is about 13 kilometres away – roughly 15 minutes by car. Car hire is available at the airport.

Very much so – children of any age. Cots and extra beds are available on request and confirmed by us before arrival.

The apartments are self-catering, each with a fully equipped kitchen – and the nearest restaurant is about 300 metres away, with more along the seafront in the village.
